The Hero

Distant Waves By Suzanne Weyn

In my book Distant Waves the hero would be Jane. Jane is the second oldest of 5 girls, Mimi, Jane, Emma, Amelie, and Blythe. In Distant Waves, Jane has to look after the younger children when her oldest sister, Mimi, leaves for Fance. I think that Jane is Loyal to her family because she proves countless times that she would do anything for her sisters. "We clung together there, rocking, a pile of teay-eyed females, cosumed with sisterly love for each other, desperate to assure Mimi that it didn't matter if she was our half sister. Our love for her whole, complete and unconditional." Suzanne Weyn; Pg. 68

  1. I don't know why but I am really drawn to this painting...it has a great sadness about it. the colours are fantastic and the clouds are so real. Where did you find it? (make sure you give credit to the painter here by providing the proper MLA info for the original source).
